I recently had a job change where riding a bike would be more convenient than driving to work. After some research and considering several different options, I decided on the Long Range E-bike.
This bike has not disappointed. Bike shipped super fast. There were a couple of spots on the box that were damaged, but the bike was double boxed and in perfect condition when opened. The bike was 3/4 of the way assembled. The remainder of the assembly was very straight forward and easy due to the very clear step by step directions in the owner's manual and supplied tools. Once assembled, the bike took about 4 hours for the initial battery charge.
I was a little worried about the size before purchase. I am a 5'9 male and purchased it and found that it was exactly suitable for me.
I've ridden this light long-range ebike for a while and was excited to see how much the electric assist would help. The bike did NOT disappoint. The e-bike handlebar display and key pad are straight foward and easy to use. My 1st ride was a 4 mile ride around town, and it was awesome. Even with just the electric assist on the "1" or "2" setting, hills were effortless. I can honestly say this was one of the most enjoyable bike rides I've had in years.
I was also curious how the electric assist would work while braking or just coasting. I was pleasantly surprised how responsive the brakes are and also how the electric assist stops when you are braking.
1st ride was great, but I purchased this bike to be a commuter bike for every day. Again, I am very happy with this purchase. I can get to my new job in the same amount of time or less than if I was driving to work. The 10 different electric assist levels make it easy to accelerate from stop signs and reach a great cruising speed in no time. It's very well built, sturdy, and a very comfortable ride. I would highly recommend this bike to anyone in the market for an electric hybrid bike.

This is a nice bike don't get me wrong. REALLY nice in fact, as a bike by itself it feels great, premium. Riding it as a standard bike is a dream, once you get the gears set up right. I DO think it's a little complicated having a gear set for both the front and rear wheels but I'm sure for most people that flexibility is a plus! The bike is very adjustable to many sizes, and the suspension fork makes it buttery smooth to ride. Most bumps you feel almost nothing!
And then theres the e-bike aspect of it. It's great, feels very powerful, almost like a human pushing you from behind, it's surreal. But climbing hills is no longer a chore so that really helps. Also I've ridden this thing for 30 minute intervals and the battery power indicator hasn't dropped ONE single blip. That's impressive! Meaning that I could probably squeeze at least 2 hours or more of juice from a maxxed battery.
And every aspect of the bike is designed with portability in mind! It is light enough for me.

Definitely worth it. The E-bike comes almost completely assembled when I recieved the package. It comes with a nice case with all the necessary tools for assembly. The battery comes fully charged, and once assembled, I was able to use it right away. The battery endurance is amazing, I can ride it for about 60-70 miles range. When I tried the bike for the first time, I found it was much more responsive in PAS mode and when using the throttle than my other E-bikes. The E-bike really takes off without any lag. All its parts feel robust and of good quality, and it has a nice look where all the information is displayed. Besides, the suspension fork make it super comfortable and perfectly complement the tires. The suspension is adjustable and is easily switched when riding off-road. Therefore, it is comfortable and fun to ride this e-bike. And the E-bike is really light, about 50LB. Riding E-bikes requires experience. But it is easy to learn it. After you are familiar with it, this E-bike is a joy to ride. I would enthusiastically recommend this bike for a E-bike rider.

So far, I love my BRE E300O. it's great for commuting to work and running errands around town. I live in Appalachia where everything is in the mountains; the BRE E300O makes commuting without a car much easier than a standard bike I assembled it in my living room in a few hours with no extra equipment, just a little help from my husband. The video instructions seem to have been made with a slightly different version of the bike, as the demo doesn't exactly match what's in the box, but it's easy to figure out. When I first put it together, the brakes had rubbing; I was able to fine tune it using the instructions on YouTube. The car is quite agile. I like to use the throttle to accelerate, especially at traffic lights. The pedal assist is very effective. I usually use level 1 or 2 on the bike path and level 3 or 4 on the road. I've only used level 5 a few times because 28 mph is really quite fast on a bike, but it's useful on roads with heavy traffic. I have two complaints. First, I think the battery indicator should be adaptive or predictive because when you put the bike on a high assist level, it immediately drops a few bars, then when you reduce to a lower assist level, the bars come back. So when you ride at high assist levels it looks like you are about to run out of battery, which is very disconcerting if you have a long way to go. Second, and this is a minor issue, the fenders are not wide enough. I haven't ridden it in real rain yet, but I've gotten splashed while going through puddles. Overall, it's a great bike. A few small tweaks would make it even better!

My wife and I bought a BRE E300O and a BREV8 on Good Friday last November (about three months ago). But I wanted to wait a while before writing a review. Now that I've put about 100 miles on the bike (half of it on the drive-through), I feel ready to review it. Before I get to the point, I want to say that these bikes are perfect for our purposes. We are both retired, so we don't "commute" on these "commuter" bikes. Instead, we just ride them for fun, when we drive the RV around the area. I'm 70 years old and I thought using a bike for transportation was in my rear view mirror, but it can be done. Comments: These bikes are fun, fun, fun. Having never ridden an e-bike before, I was blown away by the power, acceleration, ride and overall speed. still is after 100 miles ...... The gearing is smooth, the shift to pedal assist is smooth, and the throttle is smooth. I mainly use the throttle to get off the stand without having to hit the gas first. The pedal assist is great and the range seems to be good (haven't tried more than 20 miles, but when I get that far there are at least 4 bars left on the energy bar). Everyone who has ridden our bike has had the same reaction - "wow, just wow". Minor criticisms: 1 - Come on, really? No lights? I would have paid a little more for an integrated lighting system, especially if it ran off the main battery. 2 - Out of the box - they were well packed and not missed, but quality control coming out of the assembly plant could have been better. I put the two bikes together myself (fairly easy) and then had a bike mechanic complete the fine tuning. He noticed that the front tire was mounted backwards on the wheel (there are directional arrows on the tire that show which way it should rotate). Also, the front wheel had a slight bend in it. Fortunately, he was able to fix both of these issues fairly easily. Other than these two issues, he appreciated the components of the bike (in this price range) and seemed quite impressed with the bike. He said that many e-bikes use shoddy parts, but these bikes do not. My other criticism is that the keys for the battery release mechanism seem difficult to remove from the bike and it feels like they will eventually bend and maybe break. Bottom line - I wouldn't trade these bikes for anything and look forward to years of soul-satisfying fun ...... Jay
